In 2005, I completed the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City. The curriculum focused on health-supportive cooking and using food as medicine.
My professional focus after this remained on healthy eating, sustainable lifestyle education, and business development. In 2010, I founded The Wholesome Chef in Lexington, KY, a small teaching kitchen hosting cooking classes for adults. I also taught classes off-site at local universities and corporations.
Dream it.
Do it.
In 2016, I won the Orange Fork Award in the Business Category for Sustainability and Innovation at the Idea Festival in Louisville, KY.
